DC3 Audio Control Room
Media Tailor (formerly TV Tools) designed and implemented the renewal of the DC3 audio control room for Director’s Cut. The studio is used for a wide variety of productions, from talk shows to big music and entertainment productions. The needs of these different productions were carefully taken into account in the design stage.
Lawo mc256 was chosen as the sound mixer for the unit in Pasila. It has a 40-fader freely customizable control panel and duplicated Dallis I / O. The system includes fiber-optic stage boxes that can also be used with other studio equipment. The routing of the signals is done with an audio mixer matrix. The acoustics were also renewed. Listening is crowned by Genelec’s 5.1 DSP system.
Currently, the audio control room is used in Good and Bad News (Hyvät ja Huonot Uutiset), Enbuske and Linnanahde Crew, and Putous productions, among others.
