MONDO-DR: Media Tailor and Riedel Communications Take Center Stage in Creating Star of the Seas’ Complete Media System

MONDO-DR, the world’s leading international publication focused on entertainment technology, released a special issue that explores from floor to ceiling the teams, manufacturers, integrators, and professionals behind Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas.

Every ship has its own story, but our approach to each vessel is proven and reliable. One that can be counted on time and time again. This is thanks to our collaboration with Royal Caribbean, which began back in 1997.

In this special issue, our Marine Business Director Tuomas Niemelä opens his proverbial treasure chest and shares detailed insights into our role behind Star of the Seas. It was a significant role, as we designed and implemented the ship’s entire broadcast and media system.

We installed our equipment in the Broadcast Center as well as nearly every other entertainment space aboard the vessel. This wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Riedel Communications, whose top-quality products enabled us to build a ship-wide network.
