MTV pioneers in the media industry’s cloud transition

MTV’s marketing team is buzzing when the brand new premises are taken into use. At the same time, the move to new premises also enables the renewal of production methods.

In recent years, we have developed our marketing operations, both capabilities and systems, so that they maximize viewing and consumption of content. With Media Pocket, marketing materials are available for our in-house Pöllö team and also for our partners: easily, effortlessly and quickly. Centralization and improved accessibility also supports active marketing and communication of our content.

MTV’s marketing production platform will be completely renewed in connection with the move to new premises. Modern Finnish media technology enables MTV to pioneer in the cloud transition of the media industry. With the new platform, media and production systems can be accessed anytime and from anywhere.

In the future, MTV’s marketing productions will be produced with TV Tools’ production platform implemented as a comprehensive service package, TaaS – Technology as a Service. The solution consists of Pöllölaakso’s production system and the Media Pocket cloud service, which are seamlessly integrated to form a modern hybrid cloud environment. Media Pocket is a cloud service for media production and management developed by TV Tools and its subsidiary Media Tailor.

The cooperation with TV Tools went really well. The flexible and agile operation of TV Tools was a great help. Despite the tight implementation schedule, the production platform was ready for use on time and the marketing team moved to the new Pöllölaakso premises as planned.
