Seven More Years for Banijay Finland’s Comprehensive TaaS Agreement

Banijay’s TaaS package covers all post-production technology as well as comprehensive IT services. The longstanding partnership continues as Banijay and Media Tailor agreed on a seven-year extension.

Banijay Group is one of the world’s largest production companies. Banijay Finland is the group’s Finnish part and has been a Media Tailor’s customer for over 10 years.

We’re pleased to announce that the collaboration will continue for a long time to come. This spring, we signed an extension agreement that continues our partnership all the way to 2033.

Our partnership with Media Tailor has been a cornerstone of our post-production’s technical evolution for over a decade. We need a partner that can keep pace with industry changes, and this agreement ensures exactly that. It’s great to be moving into this next phase together.

Banijay’s best-known productions in Finland include Dancing with the Stars, Survivor, Temptation Island and MasterChef.

Going forward, Media Tailor’s expertise will continue to power these productions behind the scenes.

The renewal comes at an ideal time for Banijay. In August, when the new agreement takes effect, the company will relocate its Helsinki offices to Siltasaarenkatu. Media Tailor will be responsible for installing and upgrading the technology in the new premises.

Banijay has been taking advantage of Media Tailor’s TaaS (technology-as-a-service) model for years.

Under the new agreement, Banijay will continue to receive all the post-production technology and services it needs from Media Tailor as one agile package with a single monthly fee.

With the agreement in place, Banijay and Media Tailor can continue what has been a successful partnership. The two companies will keep working closely together to develop a post-production system and supporting technologies that keep pace with the demands of high-speed production, all at a fixed monthly cost.

Banijay’s post-production environment includes, for example, ELEMENTS production storage, the Media Safe backup solution and the production network.

The package also includes comprehensive IT services covering Microsoft 365 support, cybersecurity, MDM device management and other support services. The cherry on top is the Media Safe Cloud backup solution and the Mon Tool monitoring tool.
